Reclaimed History grew out of five years of persistence as an oil painter, and the discovery of a niche that not only excites me but also feels truly meaningful.

My early work often focused on combat sports—an interest of mine at the time—but over the years I realised I wanted my paintings to carry deeper stories and connections, both for myself and for those who collect them.

That realisation led to Reclaimed History: a bespoke art service that brings old black-and-white photographs to life in full colour. By combining my passion for portraiture with my love of history, I aim to honour the past, celebrate untold stories, and give families the opportunity to see their own history reimagined in vibrant oil on canvas.
